In preparation for placement, we took part in Visual Art for the Classroom—a series of workshops aimed at developing effective and engaging lesson ideas across a range of media. These sessions offered practical experience in drawing, painting, print, clay, and digital approaches, with a focus on adapting each for post-primary students. The workshops supported our ability to design lessons that develop technical skills while also encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and personal expression.
