​​​My name is James Tohill Doyle. I’m an artist, educator and PME graduate from Dublin. I built this site to document my teaching practice, studio work, and research experience during the PME programme, and to support future opportunities in education.

 

My background is in Fine Art Print, and I developed a strong interest in inclusive and socially engaged teaching while on placement in a range of post-primary settings, including a special education school. I’ve worked closely with students from a variety of learning backgrounds and have focused on exploring themes like identity, place, and memory through collaborative practice.

 

This portfolio includes samples of student work, unit plans, research, reflections, and my own visual practice. It brings together two years of learning and growth as a teacher, and represents how I plan to continue developing in the classroom and beyond.
